More August Pictures

Here are a few extra pictures on my camera roll worth saving. 

Had to recruit Pearly to puzzle with me since none of my own children enjoy it.

My new sunrise view during workouts. Sadly, I'm working out all by myself these days. I get back to Nova Bay occasionally to meet up with the others but they are rarely working out either these days. Aly had the baby so she's pretty much out... Sheri has been traveling the last 5 weeks and Brittany is trying to recover from a back injury. So I guess it was a good time to part ways. Not a bad view though!

Activity days has started up again! Ivy fits right on in in the new ward. 

Date night lately has consisted of dinner and house shopping... whether its furniture stores or home stores we are continually looking for the small (and large) things we still need. And often we have a little rascal 7 year old joining us. Just because he wants to. Most of the time we don't mind one bit. He's a great little tag-a-long without his siblings riling him up.

Couldn't resist snapping a few pictures of this bright blue eyed boy eating breakfast the other morning We have 1-on-1 time with him in the morning before school because the older 2 don't wake up until after he is gone. And I have 1-on-1 time with him after school because we have an entire hour or more before the older 2 get home once we are home. I love the extra time with him. He has my heart!! 

School Pictures

The middle school had their picture day really early this year. Good thing because had it been any later, we wouldn't have caught Jackson's good looking locks on camera. Now we will never forget them.  Jackson - 8th grade, Ivy - 6th grade, Benny 2nd grade

 

Gator Hunting 2022

It's been a successful alligator season this year so far. Ivy was invited to join the Haught girls on their hunt one night and they had an absolute blast and got a nice little gator! Then Jackson went out with Daniel, Jordan, PJ & Brynlee the next night and they got themselves a nice little gator as well!

The Fishing Continues...

 Just because summer is over doesn't mean the fishing stops. In fact, it might be happening now more than ever!! Our neighbor gave the kids permission to fish her pond anytime they want and they sure do! She might be regretting that! Also, we've had some fun evening "tournaments" just our family on the jon boat and the key west. Another fun picture to note... Jackson caught 2 fish at the same time on 1 lure, both different species. He was pretty pumped about that. 

The First Day of School 2022

Well... all good things come to an end. And the summer finally did. It was a great summer. We did a lot of very fun things and had some amazingly memorable trips. And it felt like it was a decently long summer. But time just keeps ticking away and eventually the new school year had to begin. Benny is the lone ranger at the elementary school this year. A car rider as well because he's out-of-zoned since being in our new house and doesn't have a bus route. We are both a little bummed about that. 

Benny was off to school before the other 2 woke up! Middle school for Ivy this year! She was the most excited to start back up again. Jackson is king of the school as an 8th grader and they will both do just fine this year. Because I have to drive Benny to school I don't get back in enough time to get these 2 on the bus but they take the bus home which is nice. It drops them off right at the end of our street!
