California in October

We went back to California!! We had been to Lake Shasta in June but we didn't get to see everybody we usually see when we fly out to California to visit. So we decided to all come out for Sam and Jamie's baby shower/wedding celebration. It wasn't a long trip, we flew in late Thursday night and flew home early Monday morning but it was a wonderful 3 days inbetween. My mom came with us and it has been a long time since we were ALL together... all kids, spouses and grandkids. I sadly did not get a picture on Friday when we were all toether before Hannah and Elsie had to leave to attend her grandmother's funeral. Such a bummer. We stayed this time with my Aunt Sandee and Uncle Roland and it was so fun spending some extra time with them. We were basically at Nate's all day everyday and just had a blast being together. Sam and Jamie's celebration was a lot of fun, can't wait to meet the newest Fernley in January! Here are a few pictures I did take:

At the marina for breakfast at Schooner or Later (tradition).
Cutting of the cake!!

Some of the cousins together on Sunday morning.

Losing His First Real Tooth

Okay, so I don't mean by the title that the first tooth that he lost wasn't real. It was accidentally yanked out. So this second tooth that he lost actually happened how it was supposed to. It got loose, he wiggled it, and it came out!! He wasn't quick about it. It was loose for a long time and hanging by a thread at the end but he did it. And the tooth fairy came!! And actually it was a record-breaking week in October because the tooth fairy visited all three of my children in the same week!! Losing lots of teeth over here!!

September

Comparatively, September was a pretty slow month! Not a bad thing! Just your usual, swimming, fishing, catching gators, school pictures, church, eating out, losing teeth, and Rosco... that Florida life!

I'm so thrilled that Benny is actually learning to read and write!! I wasn't sure it would happen there for awhile but it looks like he's starting to come around!
