Everything else going on in December...

The curls on this kid kill me. Seriously though, they are so darling and I love him.

Came across the abominable snowman when we were getting our Christmas tree... pretty cute.
Finished product!
Grandma nailed the birthday gift this year... this kid loves it.
Wild Florida's Christmas Party! Dinner at Catfish Place. We had a great time.
One of our favorite Christmas traditions is our 12 days of Christmas! We picked 2 random neighbors this year (didn't really know either of them) but had a great time. It's tricky when most people have video cameras these days so we get creative with trying to keep ourself anonymous! Ha! Fun side note... on the last day of our delivery one of the houses left US a gift!! That's never happened before and it was a super fun surprise!!
Roskie!

One of my dearest and once closest friends from college was in Orlando! She and her husband were here for a convention for his work and they had a cruise planned with 1 night in between. We enjoyed dinner together and they stayed with us for the night and I was able to take them to the port the next day. I hadn't seen her since our wedding!!! Almost 20 years!! Incredible! I pulled out some old photo albums and we laughed at our freshman year shenanigans in the dorms at BYU. Fun fact... her husband served his mission with Daniel!! Small world! So of course Daniel pulled out his mission album! We ate Peruvian cuisine and played some pickleball together the next morning. It was really a great visit after all these many years!!

Speaking of pickleball... we are pickleball fanatics over here!! Daniel and I picked it up several months ago with PJ and Lauren and have been hit or miss here and there playing when we can. Well we had 2 courts painted on the concrete in front of our shop and it's been a game changer!! We can play whenever we want and you better believe we do!! We've had many many full days of pickleball fun over here. Nothing makes me happier than seeing our courts full of action. We have our basketball courts painted as well and a commercial light on it's way so soon we can play all night long! Can't wait!
Twinners
These crazy boys found a tabletop spikeball game. Hilarious!
And on the last day of the month we got to welcome Hermana Munns home!! So fun to have Caroline back after her mission! Yay!

Grandpa and Wendy Come to Visit!

A couple days after Christmas my dad came to visit!! Yay! We love our visits with Grandpa! We didn't do anything that anyone else would say was very exciting... mostly spent time around the house... but it was the best time together and the way we like to enjoy their visits! They flew in Tuesday evening and we had dinner together at home. Most of the day Wednesday we played basketball and pickleball outside. The weather was beautiful and it was so fun and also so exhausting! We were supposed to hit Drive Shack that night but decided we'd pick dinner up, eat in, and try Drive Shack the next night. Thursday we spent around the house playing Sequence and Yahtzee. Daniel got home early for us to hit up Drive Shack (that was Benny's Christmas gift to them) and we had a great time! The next day we did more of the same and they flew out that evening. We loved playing cards and eating ice cream each night. It was a fun few days and we miss them already!!

Christmas Day!

Santa still found us at the new house!! Christmas fell on Sunday this year which I have decided is my favorite. I wasn't sure how our morning would play out since our church service is at 9:00 but it was absolutely perfect. We woke the kids up about 30 minutes earlier than usual so they could see what Santa brought and open their stockings. After that we got ready for church and headed out. Our service was simple and beautiful. After church we came home and had a delicious family breakfast (which we never get to do because we are usually having creamed shrimp on toast with Daniel's family... but because eveyone's church service was different times this year we decided to have it for dinner). After breakfast we opened gifts and then spent the beautiful day enjoying them! We had dinner at Heather and Ryans with the Munns family (Grandma Vicky joined us) and had the best day.

Christmas Eve

We love our Christmas tradition of Christmas Eve at Grandma Vicky's. She spoils us with the most delicious dinner (prime rib, cheesy potatoes, salad, corn and rolls... plus shrimp cocktail and artichoke dip for appetizers). And then is our beloved gift exchange! The kids love their traditional book and ornament and this year they each got something for their new rooms! And so did Daniel and I!! A beautiful clock for our family room. Looks like there is more for the honey-do list!

After Grandma's there is much to do! We had to make our last 12 Days of Christmas delivery. We must take our Christmas jammie pic in front of the tree. Plus our plate of cookies for Santa. We always read Luke 2 and watch a nativity video. Then song and prayer and off to bed....
