Father and Son

Boy does Jack Jack love his daddy! When he hears the front door open - or sometimes notices the dogs waiting by the front door (because they hear his diesel) - he stops whatever he is doing and hightails it to his dad! The smile, the squeal, really are priceless. He does NOT do that for me! I know Daniel is anxious for Jack to get older so they can do more "stuff" together but they're off to a good start. I'm always getting texted pictures of Jack on a bike (see below) or out to lunch with dad. Daniel is always thinking about what we can do that Jack will like - the park, the fair, the rodeo, the lake and the splashpad. Here are a few pics below.

Welcome Ace Wade Anderson! He was born the evening of the 8th and weighs in at 9 lbs! He is the newest addition to the family but not for long! Here is a pic of me and the babe. Erika is doing great and looks great, too! Oh, and here I am in all my blonde glory!

Blog Book

I recently finished editing our blurb book that takes your blog and converts all the entries into a book. My cousin Jill mentioned doing it a long while ago and I first downloaded the program then. My sis in law Erika has done a couple if them as well, in fact, I was just looking through one a couple weeks ago that she did for her parents and it really inspired me (because it looked so good) to get cracking and finish the one I started so long ago. I started with just our first year and it has taken awhile formatting the pictures and the text but once it is all said and done, it seems well worth it. I haven't ordered it yet - still need to do a final proof reading before I'm ready to commit but it's been so fun reading all of our old blog posts. And as a book it truly is a good way to document travels, family, friends, activities, hobbies, thoughts, events, etc... Sort of a journal/scrapbook rolled into one. It made me wish I blogged more. Maybe I'll try and throw in a few more posts here and there, and when the finished product is in, I'll let you know how it turned out. But just imagine - your little family blog in the pages of a book! Start now before it seems too overwhelming!!

Babies, Babies, Babies

If you're familiar with the Munns family, there is always a baby on the way! We will have 3 more additions to the family before the end of 2010 and who knows what 2011 will bring! Erika is actually due next month and Christine (featured below) is due in May! We had her baby shower here on the 13th and it was a lot of fun. I don't get to host things very often and it was fun having it in my home. We can't wait for baby Makayla to arrive!

Birthday Par-tay!

I had 2 birthday boys this month. Sadly, I only have photos documenting one of my boys. Sorry Daniel!! My mom came out for a visit the first week of March. She watched Jack so Daniel and I could have a date night for his birthday at Texas de Brazil with some family and friends. The week turned into a whirlwind between Jack's birthday on Thursday, his party Saturday night and Time Out For Women on Friday and Saturday. But it was a nice visit with my mom, as always, and a successful first birthday for Jack Jack. Here are some photos below:
