Halloween 2016

Wow, did Halloween come and go so super fast!!! I always enjoy all the festivities... our church Trunk or Treat, school storybook parades, carving pumpkins, Trick or Treating. It is oh so much fun every year. 

We started off with our Trunk or Treat.

In case you didn't recognize her... that's Ivy as a vampire. So scary!!

 The Indominus Rex. If you haven't seen Jurassic World it's a must. 

 And the cutest costume goes to.... Benny BOO!!!! I have to admit... I'm a little sad. That pumpkin costumes gets retired this year. No more babies for it. But it's definitely gotten its use!

 The kids did a large majority of carving their own pumpkins this year. That in itself was a real treat!! They turned out great!!

 We've got Jeremy Wade here on the left and a 50's girl on the right for their school parade!

 And here we are Halloween night. Complete with our traditional neighborhood hayride.

 

 

Fun Runners

I get a real kick out of watching my fun runners each year. Its their schools big fundraiser and I love how serious they take it. Ivy wouldn't even stop to let me take a picture until after the race!!! They ran their little hearts out!!

Oh a hunting they will go....

All my little hunters!! And in just a couple short years, Benny will be joining the ranks and then what will I do? Pedicures, naps, indulging in some me time... Have to say I'm looking forward to it!

Speaking of hunting, this kid was hunting squirrel in our backyard. You kill it, you eat it. And we did. 

Disney Days!!

We bought Disney passes after the holidays last year with Christmas and birthday money from Grandpa and it has been the gift that keeps on giving. We have enjoyed our Disney days all year long!! We've done all the parks and now I just let the kids pick where they want to go! (It's always a treat when Benny doesn't come because then we can ride the really fun rides) but when he does come we have fun too.
