Christmas Break

We had an entire week off from school before Christmas arrived and we managed to sneak in some real fun before the big day. Ice skating was a real big hit. Benny wasn't the easiest to skate with but it could have been worse. The kids were all over the ice! By the end they had gotten the hang of it again but they spent a lot of time on the ground too. It was fun to watch. Nothing a little popcorn and soda couldn't cure. 

  

 Playdates with the cuzzies was a MUST

 No school means snuggles in bed all morning watching shows. 

 And in typical Florida style... swimming of course.  

Christmas Festivities!!

The weekend after Thanksgiving the Christmas decorations go up!! And these 2 little elves are the best tree decorators around. The only one who broke an ornament this year was me! Of course this was while Benny napped. But even our little rascal was pretty good about the tree this year.  

 Christmas at Disney to see the "snow." "This isn't snow mom, these are bubbles." Can't fool these kids.

Benny Boo Turns Two!!

Well, December 9th he went and did it! He turned 2!! And while we are starting to see glimpses of an emerging terrible two year old he is mostly still as pleasant as ever. He loves his bottle. He loves elephants. He loves watching Teletubbies, Peppa Pig and the Lion Guard. He loves balls and playing basketball. He is a snuggler and a cuddler. He says only a handful of words and enjoys his weekly language therapy. He communicates with us just fine by pointing, pulling, and smiling in his sweet Benny way. He loves to play outside and is my absolute favorite.

Benny Takes on Wild Florida

 Taking this little guy to Wild Florida was a real treat. He hasn't had the chance to go as often as the other 2 did but I'm to change that!!

Shouldn't it say, Happy New Year?

Yes, it should. since it is the new year you know. But alas... I'm behind! So I will start where I left off and that is Thanksgiving.

The only picutre we snapped. But it was the most delicious meal yet and I'm real thankful for these people!!
