April Miscellaneous

This kid is so darn handsome!! I have to sneak pictures of him, though, during Facetime calls because he never wants to smile for me. 

I luckily got out of cleaning the building because I was in North Carolina but I enjoyed the pictures that Daniel sent me of our kids doing some superb cleaning!

When I go to wake this kid up in the morning I usually take a moment to adore his sweet sleeping face. Then I take a picture to always remember those moments when he isn't so sweet... 

The king of the house turned 4 on April 21st!! He is loved by us all!!

Maddie is getting married!! We had the luckiest in love wedding shower for her!!

Lizzie went to prom. She was beautiful. Ryan attempted adding a sleeve to the bare one and it was so funny and so classically Ryan!!

I was released from the YW's program!! So so bittersweet!! I've been with these girls for 4.5 years!! We had a last temple trip together which I loved. I will miss being with each of them every week. They all have a piece of my heart!

Benny Boo Man

Here are just a few random pictures of our Boo Bear.

Daniel and I cracked up over this picture of Benny on the pot, totally filthy, reading a magazine and drinking a soda? Who does he think he is?!

We met some people with a baby who also had webbed toes. Also, our newest cousin, Dax, has webbed toes. They need to be documented occasionally. 

A boy and his dog!! He reeeeally loves Rosco! It is who he seeks first when he gets home. 

And this is totally normal.

House Update

Here are some pictures of what has been happening at the house for the month of April!

We had a little side wall built to hide our trash cans and other yard items. It will be covered in red brick to match the rest of the house. 

Our summer kitchen in the gazebo was built! 

Our dock was built, yay!!

It is called Alligator Lake!!!

Some of the details are being done inside the house. I think this is one of my favorites! Our painted brick wall in the front entry right when you walk in!

Our balcony tile was laid!

Daniel and I have been working our tails off every Saturday. 8-10 hour long days!! Our biggest project has been the tongue-and-groove ceilings in all our outdoor spaces... we are finally done!! Here is the gazebo...

Another exciting interior feature.... beams!!

This is the laundry room (no so exciting but they are doing baseboards!!

You'd think we'd take a Saturday off since the tongue-and-groove is done but nope!! We had a dozen French drains to install!! Gotta make sure the water flows properly around the property so we don't have any standing water issues, dying trees or wash outs!
