Extra March Pictures

These 2 "helpers" played aaaaaaallllll daaaaaaaaay at our property while Daniel and I worked on the tongue-and-groove. They didn't help much but they stayed busy between the lake and the piles of dirt everywhere!

Afternoon Fishing Sesh

We've been super busy with flag football (guess I haven't been taking any pictures of that!) All 3 kiddos are playing flag this spring which is soooo nice (last spring I was running from flag to softball to soccer... it was a circus). We spend Mon, Tues and Thurs evenings at the football fields for games and practices. Wednesday is usually our activity night at the church but not on the 5th Wednesday!! Jackson was so excited about a free afternoon he planned a little fishing trip for Benny and Crew. Unfortunately, it was short lived due to weather, but these cuties are irresistible. 

 

House Progress

Here are a few updates on the house. 

Daniel and I have been slaving away every chance we get on our tongue-and-groove ceilings in our porch space. We have our front porch, back porch, balcony, gazebo and shop porch to do. So far we've completed 2 of the 5. 

We have a few accents walls in the interior of the house. This is our front entry from the view of the office. It will be completely white eventually. 

This is the view down the hallway once you walk into the house. This brick will remain red. 

We had footers poured around our back deck so they could start on the pavers...

5th Grade Field Trip to the Kennedy Space Center

I got to chaperone this cutie on her field trip to the Kennedy Space Center. I have only been there once, long before Jackson was born when my mom was visiting from California. It has changed a lot! It wasn't the most exciting field trip, but certainly educational! We had a good time. 

 

Spring Turkey Hunters

You'd think with these serious hunters those turkeys don't stand a chance!! Too bad we haven't brought home a single turkey yet!!

Girls Camp

 I somehow find myself at girls camp every year.... It's probably because I love it!! I had a realization this year... camp is so wonderful because everyone is sacrificing something to be there. And the Lord will always sanctify a sacrifice. So miracles happen at camp. This year was no exception. We had an amazing time full of all the things girls camp is made of!!! 

Spring Break 2022 - Miami Florida

Get ready for the most fishing pictures you've ever seen in your whole entire life!!

We spent a couple nights down in Miami peacock bass fishing. We had a great time. The first day we slayed fish all day long. Caught so many we couldn't count. Kept pulling in fish after fish after fish. The next day wasn't quite so successful but it was much more scenic and we still caught fish. Overall it was a great trip!!
