It was a big year for this guy!! He turned 40!! I wanted to do something a little extra special so I surprised him with a quick get-away. Well, he knew we were getting away, he just didn't know where. And I was able to keep the secret until we flew into Atlanta and he saw our destination was Springfield. I took him to the Bass Pro Big Cedar Lodge in Branson Missouri. It was so much fun. The Lodge is absolutely beautiful. The weather was chilly, we got some good use out of our fireplace. We napped and ate yummy food and just enjoyed a couple of nights away. Happy Birthday Babe!!
