We Hit the Beach!!

Benny's first beach trip was a huge success! It had been a particularly stressful week (broken AC, rental home problems) so we decided to spend the night at the beach. It was wonderful. Boo bear was  a happy little baby. And it was nice having Daniel's help! The kids loved it as well so we decided not to wait too long to go back...

Kara found a smokin' deal at one of our favorite hotels in Cocoa. It's right on the beach and has an amazingly fun pirate ship splash pad area and pool. We let the kids skip a day of school and just went for it! It was perfectly dreamy and the kids were in heaven. Dinner at Carrabbas? Why not!! Late night swim night? Definitely!! And an absolutely perfect beach day. 

Brevard Zoo Field Trip

Ivy, Benny and I joined Jackson's class at the Brevard Zoo! It had been too long since we had gone and we had a really fun day! I didn't take as many pictures as I should have (having a baby to juggle has put a damper on my picture taking - that's for sure). But we loved the giraffes, rhinos and the meerkats. We also closed the zoo down in their splash pad area while boo bear slept.

Since we missed going to church on Easter due to Conference we wore our Easter best the following Sunday.

Ivy is such a good sissy to her baby Benny. I caught her reading books to him the other day. So adorable. She is very helpful with him during my eyelash appointments and is always wanting to play, hold, snuggle him. He loves her too!

News in the life of Jackson

Pretty much since the beginning of the year Jackson has been begging to ride the bus to school. I have been hesitant for many reasons but mostly because he is my baby and I don't want him spending more time away from me during the school day than he already does! I told him we would consider after Spring Break and so for the last month and a half of school we agreed. He was super excited and when he got off the bus that day he exclaimed, "It was the best bus ride of my whole life!"

 Wild Florida visited Jackson's Kindergarten class. It was a good day!

 This kid has been working hard in Karate! He has passed off all of his white belt tips and can test for his yellow belt the end of May!

 We finally went shopping with the birthday gift card from GG and Gramps! It's a tradition my kids love!

And then we lost that other top tooth!! The boy is toothless now! And still so adorable!

Girls Night Out with the Boys

Daniel took Ivy out with the girls again! This time, joined by Uncle Jordan. They went to Chimentos for dinner and Bealls for some shopping afterwards. She sure loves her people!

Before and After

This is the last picture of this boy before he lost that tooth. As I alluded to in an earlier post, the tooth was loose for a few days before it came out. I took every chance I could to snap a picture of this cute little face because once those top teeth come out, it's all over for my baby boy... a baby no longer!

 

 

And on the opposite end of losing teeth is this boo... who I think will be getting some teeth in the next few weeks. He can almost fit his whole fist in that mouth of his.

Finding the kids in funny form while our AC was out.

 We did some berry picking! It was blistering hot and the girls lasted all of 10 minutes.  

 I had to snap a picture of this boy because his top tooth was loose... need to remember this baby toothed baby!!
