A Happy Mother's Day

Some Sunday afternoon shots of me and my babies on Mother's Day. Mother's Day is especially joyful for me now after having been such a sad and painful day for so long. I am a lucky gal.

Life is good

Jack Jack had his first dentist appointment yesterday! He was a great little patient! Lucky for us, Daniel's cousin is a pediatric dentist so we knew he'd be in good hands. The office was a very fun place and the staff was great!! He loved using Mr. Thirsty and getting the bubbles on his teeth. He got to pick a toy from the treasure box and put the tokens in the "gum"ball machine. He has had a lot of fun using his new Lightening McQueen toothbrush and even lets me floss his molars now. Making me proud!

After the dentist he got to pick a treat of his choice... Ice cream at Dairy Queen!!

Mother of One is no Fun

We went to the pool yesterday as a family and Daniel and I were talking about Mother's day and I had made the comment that I couldn't believe last Mother's day I was just the mother of one. Well Jack pipes in,

"Mother of one is no fun!"

It was hilarious. Daniel and I got a good laugh out of that one (I didn't even know he could rhyme) and it is so true! I'm so happy to be the mother of two!!!
