Middle School Sports Awards Night

This 6th grade girl made 2 teams this year... basketball and flag football so she got double awarded! What was really awesome was that she got the MVP award for her flag football team!! Plus... all of Jackson's 8th grade friends were there and gave her the loudest cheering section! Made my mama heart so happy!! 

Middle School Fishing Tournament Invite

The Osceola Angler's fishing club hosts a tournament every year for the middle schoolers and Jackson was able to participate this year. He was paired with an Osceola Angler team member and competed. They didn't place but Jackson did catch the big fish on his boat which was nice. He didn't want me taking any pictures... It was held at the Sheriff's training grounds and they had activities set up for families for the day so the other 2 enjoyed themselves as well!!

Guys Bohemian Fishing Trip

One last final boys fishing trip hurrah before Ryan heads off to Paris. They brought Jordan and Ryan's boat and had some of Heather's brothers tag along also. They had a great time... caught lots of fish, did some diving. Only a small problem heading home with one of Jordan's motors... turned the 2.5 hour trip across the water back into an 8 hour trip! Glad it didn't happen when we had the kids on board!! They did make it back safely so all is well!

Mother's Day 2023

We had a perfectly delicious and simple (at my request) Mother's Day breakfast before church started. All the kids obliged Mother's Day pictures with me, before, during and after church. I loved matching dressing with Ivy and wearing my homemade jewelry from Benny. I had to snap a quick pic of all the kids lounging in the family room after church because I felt so grateful to be a mother to each of them. Undocumented was the delicious Mother's day dinner Daniel had for me and both my mom and his mom! We are a lucky group!

Ivy Turns 12!

Love celebrating birthdays around here and this year Ivy turned 12! Last year before she's a teenager! Kickstarted her birthday the night before with a treat left by her youth leader from church, Cindy is always so thoughtful. Next morning she opted to ditch school for the day and this is what we did...

Opened a very large package from Grandpa and Wendy... too hard to wait until the end of day... it was the largest squishmallow you've ever seen! Exactly what she wanted!

Favorite breakfast of choice.... crepes!

Then we went and got pedicures, did a little bit of shopping and then stopped down at Wild Florida to get some WF merchandise! Got lucky and met the newest addition to the WF fam, cutest little baby sloth!!

Her dinner of choice was Texas de Brazil... no one complained about that one! Grandma Vicky joined us!

Then it was home to pumpkin pie and presents!! It was a perfect day!!

But of course we don't ever stop there.... we have to have a party with all the friends and cousins. So the following Saturday we had a pile of girls over to swim, pickleball and basically play all day. So lucky to get to celebrate this girl that is absolutely perfect for us!!

Spring Flag Champions!

Benny had a great spring flag football season. With PJ and dad as the coaches, you can't go wrong. Of course they won the championship! And blue cupcakes to celebrate!
