Ivy and Jackson joined Heather and her kiddos at the temple! Thursday nights are family nights and you can just walk right in!

This kid won a fishing tournament with his Uncle Collin... $500 payout split between them... not too shabby!

Enjoyed working out with this kiddo before school on days that dad was away!

Oh and the cutest little rug-rat-terrier there ever was!!

Harmony Middle School Flag Football Champions!!

Ivy's pop warner team didn't finish on top but her middle school team did!! Undefeated District Champions! It was a really fun season and a super fun night!

Also, I'm not sure the boys flag team would have pulled off the championship either if it hadn't been for such a diligent team manager!! He was instrumental in keeping all the players motivated and hydrated!!

 

Middle School Friends

Jackson has been enjoying as much time with Porter and their friends as he can before Porter heads out to France! Catching snakes and catching fish and catching gators...

 

Cleared for Volleyball

In April we got the exciting news that Jackson was cleared to play all non-contact sports! This meant he could jump back on his club volleyball team! They had already been through most of the season but Jackson caught a couple tournaments before nationals. He was happy to at least be able to start doing something! (Also, you've probably never seen so many shaggy heads before in your life!)

Taylor Swift Concert!

I happened to be a very lucky duck that landed 6 tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Tampa in April. Unfortunately, there were about 25 of us that wanted to go!! What to do, what to do... 

Luckily, it all worked itself out in the end. As it got closer to the concert, more and more people were able to find tickets so in the end we had 10... my 6 for the girls to sit together and the other 4 for the adults! It was perfect. There were actually a few more of us that had tickets on the surrounding days so we got an Air B n B for the entire weekend and made a big girls trip of it! It was so fun. Shopping, eating, swimming, singing, choreographing, laughing, relaxing... it was a super fun trip! And I think I'm a swiftie now!!

We spent most of Friday getting ready. Beweling ourselves. Also, our place was called the Grand Oasis... and it was Grand!!

Boys Turkey Hunting Trip to Texas

These two were super excited to go hunt some turkeys out in Texas. Boys trip with the younger cousins, Bowie and Crew. Benny was the only one that didn't get a bird but he had a blast! Next time!

Easter 2023

Easter was a wonderful Sunday! The kids enjoyed their Easter baskets and that evening we had dinner and an Easter egg hunt at the Haught's house. The rain did not deter the kids!! And Ivy still isn't too old for a good egg hunt! (Jackson is... he did the hiding of the eggs this year!)
