Benny's 4th Birthday!!

Doesn't everyone take their 4 year old to a hotel for their birthday? :) One thing about Benny is that he loves hotels!! He calls them hootels (which is the cutest thing ever) and asks regularly to go to a hootel. We couldn't resist. His birthday was on a Sunday this year so we booked a hotel for Saturday night and made this little boys dreams come true and stayed at a hootel!! It was all he wanted!!

Late night swim night in the pool... Check!

 And of course, a birthday party of cake and ice cream with all our cousins!

 I got to end the night with birthday snuggles in my bed until he fell asleep. Oh how I love him. So lucky he is mine!!

Family Afternoon in the Woods...

Daniel somehow talked me into taking a Saturday afternoon to go hunting as a family! He had Ivy and Benny and I had Jackson... I definitely had the better end of the deal. It was a beautiful afternoon and I loved sitting in the quiet stand with my sweet boy reading and enjoying the beauty of the earth. (Believe me, I wasn't going to shoot a thing!) We saw a lot of animals, though, never in range (luckily). Our 4-wheeler stalled when Daniel was going to come pick us up so we had to walk about a mile and a half to our car when we were done. The kids were troopers and I think it was a perfect ending to a fun little afternoon.

We had a great Thanksgiving! Unfortunately I didn't take a single picture on Thanksgiving day! I did, however, take some pictures of my favorite little turkeys at their school Thanksgiving programs!

Rosco the Rascal!

This dog. I find myself taking lots of pictures of him, too. He's really won us over around here, though. Especially Benny. This boy loves his dog!!
