California!

We love our summer trips to California! We have this travel thing down pat!! Kids were a dream on the plane.

 We stayed at Grandpa and Mimi's house... always the nicest accomodations and Mimi had fresh flowers for us in our rooms! We were able to see Shaylee and Brooklyn first! After making pee-pee flower sticks (one of my childhood favorites with the jacaranda flowers) we went to a local park. 

 I shared a bed with this babe while we were there... can't resist a sleeping baby. 

 We love going to the Peninula when we are there. The boys always find really interesting things! I wish I had taken a picture of the whole group!

 The beach can tire a girl out!! Love auntie snuggles with my little niece Brooklyn. 

 Benny loves his uncles!! And his Hallee.

 I consider it a total mom fail that I've never taken my kids to a batting cage. Well we went with Grandpa!! And it was super fun!! 

 Of course we visited our GG!!! The kids really love her and are always so excited to see her and play with her toys and enjoy her candy/cookies/treats. I loved visiting with her... I wish I could sit down and chat with her weekly. She is so special to me... we love our GG!!

 Someone lost a tooth while we were there!! Good thing the tooth fairy still found him!

 We spent a day at the beach with Uncle Sam and Jamie! They only live 3 blocks away! We did some burying as you can see...

 We went to Knott's Berry Farm with all our cousins one of the days we were there. Very, very fun for the kids. 

 After Knott's we enjoyed a family get together at my Aunt Sandee's house... more swimming and more cousin time. Plus a nice visit with some of my cousins as well!!

 Lots of pool time at Nate and Dara's.

 And just like that!! It was over! 

I did get a nice visit in over lunch with my Aunt Sue while we were there... just didn't get any pictures with her! We visited, we swam, we ate yummy food, we relaxed and just enjoyed our time with our California family. Can't wait to go back.... next year!!
