North Carolina

Me and my mom took a trip to North Carolina in September! My 2nd cousin, Alexa, was getting married and my aunt Sue and uncle Dee were flying out from California to come so I thought it would be a fun girls trip for me and my mom to take the quick flight up and see some relatives that we hadn't seen in a long while. We had such a fun time! We stayed in the Raleigh/Durham area and ate delicious food, drove around Duke University, visited with family and attended the wedding and did some shopping. It was a fun night dancing and visiting and just resting and relaxing. And I loved just being with my mom for the weekend!

Quite the Gap

I realize that there is quite the lengthy gap here in posts. I have a note on my phone that I keep a list of events I want to blog about and as I post I delete them from the list. My list right now is really really long! Every few months I try and take pictures from my phone, download them onto my computer and then blog from my computer. What has happened, though, is I have been unable to transfer my pictures from my phone to my computer. Either my computer wouldn't recognize my phone or, when it did and I selected photos to transfer, halfway through the transfer it would disconnect and I couldn't get all pictures from the month transferred. So when I actually would sit down to blog I would find myself troubleshooting the entire time and never accomplish what I wanted. Frustrating!! Well here comes COVID-19 and quaratine time. I decided I would figure this blog thing out!! Clearly I have enough time on my hands to do so. I certainly don't want to stop blogging, it's become my family's journal each year as I turn my blog into a printed book. So. I bought a device that plugs into my phone. I have transferred my photos to this device and now have plugged the device into the computer to transfer pictures. Sounds simple but it takes FOREVER to load the pictures on it so it will take some time. But I am determined!! So here we go again. Picking up where I left off, which was August. So you'll be seeing pictures from things that happened back in September, through the end of 2019 (all holiday stuff) through the new year and up to now, May 2020. Thanks for viewing and for your patience.
