Drone Pictures of the House

Here are some of those pictures of the house taken from our builder's drone. Also, at the bottom, a few things we've been working on. 

We had our table custom built by our cabinet guy. We had been looking for one that was really big and thinking we'd do wood but man, for the size we wanted it was just so expensive. So we looked into getting a slab of quartzite (which is what we did) and he built some boxes for it underneath that match our island and its absolutely perfect!! We love it!

Same day they delivered the table they brought and installed our floating shelves in the office. Now I just need to decorate them!

We installed cut mirrors in all our bathrooms but once the light was installed centered on the sink in the pool bath I thought the mirror would look funny going all the way to the wall. So we opted to just try and find one to hang and here she is!! Happy to have this bathroom done!

And finally, a very small detail, but we had been missing the small slab of granite for the overflow section of our hot tub into the pool. But there she is!! ✔✔✔

The Science Center

 We have been enjoying the Orlando Science Center every summer since Jackson and Ivy were "widdow guys." When we went last summer I remembered thinking "This could be Jackson's last trip to the science center." He's outgrown it to a certain degree. Benny is still the perfect age to love it. Anyhow, I made plans to take the kids the Friday before school started and I gave Jackson to option to stay home if he wanted. He initially said he wanted to stay home but after a few minutes changed his mind and said he'd come. It made my mama heart so happy!! I think it's just nostalgic for him, too. Anyhow, he enjoyed himself plenty, was bored a little bit but didn't mind hanging with me when Benny and Ivy were playing somewhere he wasn't interested in. It probably, definitely was the last time I'll get him to come... but you never know!!

It's tradition to take a picture in the theatre. I regret not getting a picture of Benny working in the orange grove.... that is always a favorite. But Ivy and Jackson in the hurricane simulator cracked me up!! They seriously look sooo much alike! (funny side note - Ivy's face can open the face ID on Jackson's phone!)

Last Beach Day of Summer

The last full week of summer we tried to pack a few fun things in. We spent 1 last day at the beach! Sadly, I didn't take any pictures, but Jen did, so here are a few. 

A few extra pictures for July

We had a handful of movies to see on our summer to-do list. The Rise of Gru was one of them. Kids loved it. I fell asleep. 

We got to dogsit Bunny for a few days. Rosco was in doggie heaven! But they were mischief makers!

Speaking of Rosco, this girl is obsessed. I have about a million selfies of her and Rosco. 

And speaking of selfies... I find the most bizarre selfies of this guy on my phone as well.

This was a fun catch! Right in our backyard!

Red Snapper Fishing Pt. 2

When Red Snapper season opened on the Atlantic side, you bet the boys were there! A lot less travel this go around!! And they got plenty of fish!
