The Birthday Girl Turns 6!!!

May 10th. One of my favorite days of the whole year. My baby girl's birthday. She is a dream come true. And here is how we celebrated her!!
Traditional birthday hat picture and breakfast in bed (our bed is more fun)... crepes at her request. And of course, just 1 present before school!
I grabbed some McDonald's for lunch and met her at school with Benny and her Auntie Shanda and Sophie... she was a happy girl and these girls are wild!
We don't bring cupcakes to class... we bring donuts! (way more delicious and much less work).
Opening up Jackson's present after school. This was a really sweet moment.
And the party! We had a pool party over at the Hacienda... again.... our last chance to do so. It did not disappoint!
 Tsum-Tsum Cake!
Opening up the last of her presents before beddy bye time.
And I threw this one in here because it was so cute. Coloring with her new gel markers and coloring book from Grandma Vicky the next day.

Losing Teeth

Just 5 days before her 6th birthday this girl lost her 2nd tooth! As you can see, the permanent tooth had already made it's appearance and was growing in behind the baby tooth. It wasn't very loose though, so we took matters into our own hands. After watching a video of her beloved cousin, Sophia, pulling out one of her teeth, Ivy was ready to do it. We twisted and wiggled that thing all night and finally got it out! She was thrilled to have lost a tooth on the same day as Sophie. And I was relieved that she wasn't looking like a shark anymore

Miscellaneous Picture from April 2017

As I was moving on to my next post I was scrolling over some pictures I wanted to stick in so here's a few randoms from the remainder of April.
My fisherboys.
Redbox run in the Jeep with my peeps.
Ivy's kindergarten field trip to the Brevard Zoo... Sadly, I only took a couple pictures but we had a whole lot of fun!!
My temple swap day and we usually try to get out of the house and do something fun (or else Benny and McKenley will kill each other)

The Hacienda pool... enjoying every last minute of it.
 Catching lizards and feeding goats!
Field Trip to the movies with my 2nd grader!

Easter 2017

We had a beautiful Easter Sunday this year. It was our very last one at the Hacienda which is so sad to think about. We've enjoyed Easter Sunday traditions there for every year of my children's lives. I guess we make new traditions next year!
Here is my little family at church Easter afternoon.
A little back-tracking to our church's Easter Egg hung and devotional the day before Easter. The eggs were empty and as soon as the older 2 realized that, they stopped hunting and left. Not this little Benny Boo... he loved finding the eggs - even if they were empty!
 The Easter Bunny came!!
A little lengthy, but well worth it, photo-shoot with my darlings before we left for church.

The big Easter egg hunt line-up!! Youngest (Ila - 1 year) to the oldest participant (Wilbo - 11 years)
Family selfie! With a mouth full of chocolate!
And then the Easter egg dying happened for Family Home Evening the next day... better late than never.

2nd Grade Field Trip to Animal Kingdom

I chaperoned my favorite 2nd graders field trip to Animal Kingdom. It was a lot of fun... especially since I've never been to Disney with just this kid alone. It was a nice treat! We had a couple kids from his class with us (cutest little twins ever) and of course, our cuzzie Porter.
They got soaked on the River Rapid ride.
