Homework

Ivy insists on doing homework when Jackson is doing homework. She's pretty darn cute when she does.

Day at Disney

Our dear, sweet neighbor recently retired from Disney and came over awhile ago with 2 tickets to Disneyworld... they expired on the 17th and could we use them? Heck yes!! She offered to meet us and get more of us in if we wanted but I thought I'd enjoy a day with my girl while Jackson was at school instead. We had the best time. I kept it a surprise until we were on our way and the reaction from this girl was priceless. The weather was nice, it wasn't too crowded and we had a really nice time. I only wish we could have stayed all night (it may have put me into labor though... lot of walking).

We Love to See the Temple

Daniel had to be at a multi-stake youth dance for the first little bit and we joined him and had dinner afterwards. While he was conducting his dance interviews we drove over to the temple and walked around the grounds. I was surprised how excited the kids were and how much they loved it. We decided we would pack a picnic one night and come back.

Family Pictures 2014

Get ready for an onslaught of pictures! I had to restrain myself from posting them all. But this is a pretty good variety. Eva did a fantastic job once again! I couldn't be happier with them. And just wait until you see my maternity pictures!!

Our Halloween Week...

We started the week of Halloween off with carving pumpkins Monday night for Family Home Evening.
Next, this cute little cat had her preschool Halloween parade.
Our church's trunk-or-treat is always a favorite. Jackson was a fierce bison this year!
 The cow and the bison.
Jackson's kindergarten class had a fun Halloween "parade." The kindergartners had to dress up in 50's style clothes for the 50th day of school. I was able to stay to help in his classroom for some Halloween activities after the parade. I was in charge of helping the kids decorate Frankenstein rice krispy treats. It was fun watching him interact in class.
Lucky little Ivy stayed home with my mom and decorated Halloween cakes. (wish I had snapped a picture!)
And the grande finale...
Halloween night!!
We met at the Snider's for chili beforehand and then hopped on the Pratt's Kubota hayride. I hardly saw Jackson at all, he was happy as could be running around ahead with all the boys and sweet little Ivy held my hand most of the night. They were exhausted at 8:00, thrilled to get into jammies and go through their candy and were in bed by 9:00. I'd say it was a good night!
