"Popp-o Poppee... Nnose" (popcorn popping, nose)

This pretty donut eating lass sure gives us a run for our money! To date... I've now extracted 2 popcorn kernels from her nose and a button. The first time I used my eyelash tweezers. The second I used a nifty trick a friend taught me which is to blow in her mouth like I was giving her mouth-to-mouth (not plugging her nose of course) and that sucker popped right out! Freaky and gross, I know. The third incident, the button, wasn't in far enough and I was able to just squeeze it out. Later the same day, she tried putting a "baby rock" as she called it, a small rock in her nose but it didn't fit. What is with this girl?

Our Lakefront

We enjoyed an afternoon at our own personal lakefront the other day
(also known as the Clark's backyard)
Lucky for us we can use it anytime we want... and I'm sure we will!!

Peanuts Playhouse

We spent one of our chilly Spring Break days at Peanuts Playhouse... a cute little play place in town. It's a little pricey but very cute and very fun for the kids. I took too many pictures but I couldn't resist.

Happy Easter!!!

Did Easter sneak up on you? It did me!! And now it has passed and gone along with the month of March! It will not go undocumented, however, and so behold the Easter post!

Egg dying was a real hit around here! Jackson is old enough to get a little fancier in is dying skills (some double dipping action and a suicide egg - dipped in all the colors!) Ivy only cracked 2 eggs but was so happy about the occasion I couldn't stop her.

Easter Sunday was such a pleasant day. I can't help but smile at this picture of my sweet, adorable, perfect little family.
Here is my prettiest princess!!! With her silly brother.
After church we went to the Grands for our annual Easter dinner and egg hunt. It was a super success.

The Easter bunny did come and spoiled our kids rotten!
